Turkey Visa Requirements 2026
Most applicants need:
Mandatory Documents
- Visa Application Form (VAF): Must be filled out and printed at Anatolia Travel Services by staff. It requires two attached 5x5cm color biometric photos with a white background showing a front pose without a veil, cap, or sunglasses. The form must be checked and signed by the applicant.
- Passport: Must be unimpaired and valid for at least 6 months from the travel date. Copies of the Bio Data and used pages of old passports must be provided on A4-size paper.
- Family/Marriage Certificates: Family Registration Certificate (FRC) or Marriage Registration Certificate (if newly married) from NADRA.
- Cover Letter: A one-page letter explaining the purpose of the visit, places to be visited, estimated expenses, travel companions, and previous travel to Turkey.
- Financial Proof: Bank statements from the last 3 months (duly signed/stamped, on A4, and not older than 10 days). A Bank Account Maintenance Certificate is specifically required for applicants from Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan
- Income Status: Official documents such as salary checks, FBR, NTN, or an Active Tax Payer Certificate.
- Travel Arrangements: Proof of return or onward ticket reservations and proof of secured accommodation (hotel reservation or invitation letter).
Conditional Documents (Based on Professional/Personal Status)
- Government Officers: Requires an NOC or Ex-Pakistan Leave Paper.
- Business Owners: Supporting documents proving ownership and the company’s financial standing.
- Employees: A letter on company letterhead mentioning title, salary, and employment duration, plus the last 3 months’ salary slips and payment type.
- Professionals: Professional Qualification Certificate (e.g., PMDC, Engineering Council, or Bar Associate letters).
- Freelancers: Recent signed contracts.
- Students: A bona fide letter confirming enrollment from their educational institution.
- Minors (Under 18): Original notarized consent letter from absent parent(s) on stamp paper. If a parent is deceased, a Death Certificate is required.
Important Undertakings and Rules
- Submission Timeline: Applications can be submitted up to 3 months before travel, but the Embassy recommends applying at least one month in advance.
- Document Format: All documents must be in English (or translated), readable, and in A4 format.
- Verification: All presented documents can be verified by the Embassy or Anatolia Travel Services.
- Consequences of Fraud: Submitting fake or forged documents can lead to an entry ban to Turkey and legal proceedings initiated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
